A Quran Hifz school is an institution dedicated to helping students memorize the Quran in its entirety. “Hifz” means “memorization” in Arabic, and our school focus on committing the entire text of the Quran to memory while also ensuring students understand its meaning and teachings. Students, known as Huffaz (memorizers), usually begin at a young age and engage in intensive study under the guidance of qualified teachers. In addition to memorization, students often learn proper Quranic recitation (Tajweed) and are encouraged to embody the ethical and moral values found within the Quran.
